Erin Cook
Erin Youtzy has been dabbling in SQL at the workplace since she earned her BS degree in 2004. She is currently a DBA at UNM.
Erin Youtzy currently works as a DBA for the University of New Mexico’s Health Sciences Library and Informatics Center, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. She maintains all MS SQL database servers and all databases associated (200+ databases, multiple platforms, multiple servers, including VM’s). Prior to that, Erin contracted as a DBA for Indian Health Services’ Web Team, where she specialized in migrating databases from one SQL platform to another, as well as migrating complex and sensitive data from one server to another. There she also worked heavily with SSRS reporting. Erin began her professional career as a DBA doing full-time database maintenance and upgrades to a local bank in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Before obtaining the title of DBA, Erin worked in records management, where she started querying the records’ databases and putting the results into reports for upper management.
Erin is currently working on obtaining her MCITP in Database Administration.
